duoPUR

Milestone has developed the duoPUR and subPUR boiling distillation systems, which allow laboratories to produce their own high-purity acids at reduced cost. An optimal method for purification and preparation of high purity reagents is used, in this type of acid distillation non-contact infrared lamps are used to evaporate the surface liquid at a temperature, usually 20° C below the boiling point. DuoPUR allows the purification of the most common acids such as HNO₃ and HCl. DuoPUR is an alternative to expensive high purity acids for micronutrient analysis.
