Live from the LAB - Solutions for Omics Research

On June 12, 2025, the second edition of Live from the LAB - Solutions for Omics Research took place in Sofia, hosted by Thermo Fisher Scientific and ACM2 Ltd. The event welcomed 22 in-person attendees and focused on the latest ASMS 2025 highlights and innovations in metabolomics, lipidomics, and quantitative LC-MS workflows.

The local program featured full-length presentations by Prof. Valentin Lozanov (Medical University Sofia), who discussed Orbitrap technology applications in complex biomatrices, and Simonas Rudys (Thermo Fisher Scientific), who presented LC-MS workflows and introduced Stellar MS for hormone analysis.

The event was featured as part of the global “Live from the Lab” initiative - a significant recognition of ACM2 as a trusted scientific host site.

With 22 attendees, Sofia ranked second in customer participation across EMEA, right after Munich - a strong testament to the relevance and impact of the event.
