VolumeScope 2 SEM is designed for analysis of biological samples and soft materials. The serial block-face SEM (SBF-SEM) technology combines in situ fragmentation and imaging of tissues and other materials. Following the fragmentation with a diamond knife, the tissue is imaged several times, leading to an accelerating voltages. VolumeScope 2 SEM has 10 nm resolution along the Z axis. Performs analysis and imaging in 3D mode. |
